  1. MM_100 is Macro Manager v1.00 by Lonny L. Pursell and Encom (dated
  2. Sept. 14, 1991).  Macro Manager is a GEM program designed to send macros 
  3. (strings) out through the modem (RS-232) port as if you typed them. The 
  4. system on the other end won't know the difference.  So, what is a macro? 
  5. Basically it is a string of characters.  Preferably one you use quite
  6. often.  Some of the characters may have a special meaning which affects
  7. how the macro is sent.  A good example of a macro would be your name.
  8. How many times do you type your name when you call an online service.
  9. You end up typing it more than once I'm sure, so creating a macro to do
  10. it for you will save you time.  Time saved is money saved when your
  11. online!  As you know (maybe) FLASH has a built in function key editor, 
  12. but you can only define a maximum of 20 macros.  Once you've used them all 
  13. up, that's it, no more macros.  Macro Manager's specialty is sending 
  14. strings, so stop wasting an entire function key for one simple macro that 
  15. only sends a string out to the modem.  Instead let Macro Manager handle 
  16. all your string sending tasks and use the function keys for more useful
  17. things.  Macro Manager will let you define up to 42 strings with 33
  18. characters each.  Color or mono.  Docs included.  SHAREWARE.
